Why this blog
We published kissingdogs.net for a simple reason: to officially have dogs announced as the most wonderful creatures known to humankind. They are fluffy (well, not all of them), they listen and they never leave, as confirmed by all members of my team.
Dogs have so much to give, and I believe so should we, as their owners and as their masters. However, giving them a proper care isn’t simple. Only when one understands dogs thoroughly, what they need and what they want, should they be able to give the best to their fluffy loved ones.
This is why we dedicate this blog to all dog owners and fosters out there. In hope of all dogs being loved the right way, we want to share everything we know about dogs: taking care of them, how to train them, kinds of breeds, etc.
What we share
Since our aim is to provide the most detailed information on dog care, we do everything possible to make it easier for you, dog owners, to keep track:
- News: Taking care of specific types of dogs, how to train dogs, how dog breeds are different from each other… And of course, funny moments with these cuties!
- Bulldog: What’s special about bulldogs, some of their unique features, images, moments…
- Golden Retrievers: How to train your retrievers, their cute moments in case you don’t have one…
- Pug: Ways to train a pug, videos of pugs playing with each other…
We do hope to cover a wider range of topics in our posts, which is why we really need your help. If you do have comments or even several topics in mind, please don’t hesitate to message us via Facebook: facebook.com/kissdogspage. All of your ideas and comments are honestly appreciated.
Who we are
As you can tell from the title, we are dog lovers. Well, pugs, shepherds, bulls and retrievers to be precise, but we do love dogs in general.
I’m Chris, short for Christopher-not-Columbus. I’m having with me my precious Jessie, always in a mood for playing around and so energetic whenever I come home. She was just 2 years old in 2012, when my cousin adopted her, sleeping snuggly on her hands. She’s a big girl now, and since my cousin has moved to live far away last year, I’m her current dad. She seems to have no problem with that.
For some reasons, the rest of my team can’t own a pet, so we came up with the idea to adopt Finn and let him stay in the building with our boss. He’s a golden retriever and a motivation for us all to come to work. He’s always smiling with his tongue stick out, and you guessed it, we don’t have our snack time in peace (and we prefer it this way!).
Lots of people have been curious to see him and asked us to post pictures or video clips of him, but our team voted not to do so. Instead, we will mention him in a post, with his identity kept hidden. You could still get to see him, but you won’t know that he’s ours. Excited?
